- Due to conferences, every day is early release at 1:30.
- Conferences begin this afternoon, and I’m looking forward to meeting all of you. If you don’t yet have a time scheduled, have your child see the schedule to find out which times are still available.
- We still need student helpers and parent leaders to sell snacks during conferences this week for fund raising. Contact me now so we don’t miss this opportunity to raise money!
- Thursday is family Bingo night from 6:00 – 7:30. Please come! The 6th grade will be selling dinners and snacks as part of our fund raising activities for Yosemite. If you are coming, please be sure to have your child sign up to help sell dinner.
- Class 6B will be studying radioactive decay, the age of the earth, and mapping in science. We are recording the temperature in Yosemite Valley twice every day via the internet.

Homework & Tests
- This week in English we will be working on the stories Old Ben and Feathered Friend from our literature books, and verb forms.
- There are no TIG groups this week due to the conference schedule.
- Be sure your child is reading a minimum of 30 minutes every day in English. Sign the reading log — it is part of the English grade.
- In math we will continue data analysis, and begin graphing data.
- There will be a math test toward the end of the week.
