Announcements:
- Pictures from the Danny G. dance and our classroom are now posted. Go to the picture page and click on the link!
- Monday night there is a full eclipse of the moon. It begins at about 9:33PM, and starts to get really “eaten into’ at 10:38PM. It reaches totality at 11:45PM, and stays totally eclipsed for a long time, until 12:52 AM (early Tues. morning). It’s over between 2-3 AM, depending upon how much darkness you consider an eclipse. Of course, the rain clouds will need to cooperate to allow us to see it…
- Tuesday Dec. 21 is the Winter Solstice, the first day of winter and the shortest day of the year. After tomorrow, the days get longer. Yea!
I hope you are all having a great and relaxing holiday. Remember to be safe, and I’ll see you on January 3!
Just so you don’t get too bored, here’s what you need to do:
- Vocabulary Builder (12 words, completely filled out. Use YOUR OWN sentences for the sentence part; check with an adult if you’re not sure how to use the word, because I’ve seen some pretty weird sentences.)
- Know all of your multiplication facts. There’s a party if we get everyone to learn them!
- Finish your December book that has the protagonist of the opposite gender from you. You do NOT need to fill out reading logs if you get your book finished.
