Homework for Aug 29 – Sept 4

Long weekend

  • Be sure you have any award winning (or classic) book at your reading level to be reading for September. I’ll ask you about it on Tuesday.
  • Read at least 1/2 hour per day. Be sure you’re reading your award winning book at least part of the time. You will have to write a report on it at the end of the month.
  • Math: pgs. 46-47: 5,7,9; 21-29 odd; 31-37 odd; 43-51 odd

Thursday evening

  • Back to school night

Wednesday evening

  • Read in English for 1/2 hour or more and write in log
  • Work on your multiplication facts. There is a test tomorrow!
  • Math: pgs 40-41: problems 1-9 odd; 13-21 odd; 29-35 odd

Tuesday evening

  • Read in English for 1/2 hour or more and write in log
  • Work on your multiplication facts. There is a test tomorrow!
  • Math: pgs 36-37: problems 13-45 odds only

Monday evening

  • Read in English for 1/2 hour or more and write in log
  • Work on your multiplication facts
  • Math: pgs 32-33: all odd problems
  • Vocab words: adept, amicable, dread, horrendous, humdrum, martinet, melodious, stern, stringent, witty
