Homework for January 28 – February 1

Friday evening

  • No math; we had a test today.
  • Rewrite your object description essay.
  • New essay: describe a classroom from last year or this year — due on Monday.
  • Walking field trip to Kennedy Middle School on Wednesday — turn in your permission slip to Maestra Anna.
  • Math club on Monday and Tuesday after school. Working with negative numbers and review multiplication facts.
  • English extra credit due on Friday.

Thursday evening

  • Math pg. 337: all problems
  • Math test tomorrow on chapter 6
  • English: The room descriptive essay has been moved to due on Monday
  • Start reading your biography for February
  • EXTRA CREDIT: Look for real life “Caught-Yas” and/or work on your printing improvement packet. Due by Friday Feb. 8.

Wednesday evening

  • Math: Pg 33o ff: 1-6 all; 9-19 odd; 23, 24, 33-38 all
  • English: Room descriptive essay, final version due on Friday
  • Finish your January book and check out a biography at the public library for February

Tuesday evening

  • Math pg. 327: 1-9 odds; 19-31 odds
  • Be finishing your English book for January. Get a full-length biography at the public library for your Feb. biography.

Monday evening

  • Math pg. 315: 4-7 all (be sure to draw a picture for 4 & 5)
  • Math pg. 319 ff: 5-10 all; 16-20 all; 23, 24, 25, 29
  • English: Final copy of your object using descriptive language of the 5 senses. Blue ink, black ink, or computer. Attach your draft copy to the back.
  • Finish your January book by Wednesday.
